This elegant silver ring features marcasite stones in a closed setting with decorative engraving to the the side edges.
The ring is typical of those made during WW2 as wedding bands when gold was scarce. We have read that often the women would have them replaced when gold and precious gems were once again readily available.
There are no stones missing.
The inside of the band is stamped SILVER.
The ring is a size S. The band is 2mm wide x 2mm deep.
