This classic design was in use during the early to mid 1960's. It was produced by a few companies in both ceramic and glass. This particular lamp is made from opaque white glass or Opaline glass.
The bases is pure white with brass base, collars and trim. The top has an ornate brass decoration.
The lamp has been totally re wired to comply with Australian standards and tagged by our electrician. It has a new E27 socket and new double insulated cord with inline switch.
The glass is in lovely condition with a few lights scuff marks only. There are no chips or cracks but a few included bubbles from the manufacture. The brass is darkened with tarnish.
The lamp stand 220mm to the top of the brass collar and 380mm top the top of the clip on shade.
The new shade is Danish made and has a coarse woven fabric over PVC.
The lamp stands 380mm to the top of the brass top and 600mm to the top of the shade.
