This elegant set is in the pattern Thebe designed by Folke Arstrom in 1944 for Gense Sweden. It has become a classic based on ancient Egyptian design.
There is a child's knife, fork and spoon plus an extra fork. The extra fork has the Swedish airline SAS motif to the back and a different Gense marking to the original set.
The original three piece set is all marked in the same manner Gense in an oval with R in a square. The other little fork is marked to the back Gense 18-8 Stainless Sweden as shown.
One fork has a 'pock' mark to the side as shown. We are not sure what this is caused by but it is shown in close up.
There are very fine usage marks.
The knife is 157mm long, the fork is 145mm long and the spoon is 146mm long.
The three piece set came in its retail box all carefully wrapped in cotton wool.
We have many other designs and sets of Danish Cutlery.
