This strand comprises tumbled and polished jadeite jade stones joined with small brass spacers and a brass screw clasp.
The stones are glossy and smooth for the most part. I had assumed the stones were tumbled but having read many other description for similar items they are said to be hand carved or shaped and polished. We would say they are Chinese.
The stones range in size from around 10mm to 15mm. There is no damage and the strand of stones is 740mm long. It weighs 95gms.
