This beautiful piece of Art glass was hand made by Steven Correia. Correia Art glass began in 1974 with glass artist Steven Correia and his sister Patricia. Steven was the glass artist and Patricia did the marketing, exposing the work to museums and top retailers. They were based in Santa Monica California.

Correia art glass is found in Museums and is highly regarded and sought after by collectors. Its not hard to see why. All the glass is hand blown without the use of moulds as such no two pieces are identical.
The vase is deep cobalt blue and has a silver decoration in a 'feather' design. Within the silver bands are fine gold bands which broaden as the design peaks. This particular vase has very curved central peaks and two smaller peaks to either side. It is beautiful.
This piece is signed to the underside as shown with GCF 46.76.11. It is signed to the top of the base S Correia.
There is no damage to this lovely piece, no scratches marks or scuffs.
The vase stands 125mm tall and measures 96mm across the rim and 87mm across the base.
