This lovely spoon is in very good condition.
The spoon is softly gilded with a sparkling reflective finish. The finial is enamelled with a New Zealand Crest of Arms featuring 2 Kiwis. It is hallmarked for Birmingham with a date letter f for 1955.
There is no damage to the spoon, no chips or cracks to the enamel. There is a small smooth dark spot to the bowl which we have not tried to remove. As mentioned there is no damage but there are manufacturing marks where the outline of the enamel becomes irregular.
The spoon is 117mm long. It weighs 11.4gms.
