This interesting bracelet comprises various New Guinea coins of different sizes carefully joined together and securing with a two little hooks through eyelets.
The coins vary in date from 1935 until 1944. These coins were possibly collected during WW2 and brought home to Australia as a memento.
There are 4 shillings all sterling silver, 2 sixpences and 2 threepences. The last two types are copper with nickel plating. The fittings and joiners are all sterling silver.
The bracelet is 205mm long and 24mm at the widest part.
