The setting has been gently used and has fine scratches from use. As can be seen from the photos the pieces present beautifully.
The elegant pattern is called Dover in America and Martinique elsewhere. It has a pretty scroll and flower design to the edges of each piece. The knives have hollow handles and stainless steel blades.
There are 6 dinner knives with smooth blades, 6 entree knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 entree forks, 6 dessert spoons, 6 soup spoons, 6 sweets spoons, 6 cake forks and a large serving spoon. There are 49 pieces. The pieces are marked W A Rogers Silverplate to the backs
The are lights marks from gentle use.The surfaces are bright and reflective and the photos show how good the surfaces are.
Three pieces only have more significant marks. A dessert spoon has a single small dark spot to the bowl, one entree fork has some silver loss to the back and the table spoon has some deep scratches to the back. These are shown in the photos.
