This pretty pair is in very good condition.
The brooches are identical and each is marked for sterling silver, one 925 Silver and the other a part stamp of Ster... for sterling.
Both are finely made with intricate tooling, openwork and bead set marcasites. This is where part of the setting has been pulled up and over the edges of the stones to create claws to hold them in place.
Both have roll over safety locking clasps. One has a slightly bent pin. There is no damage to either piece and no missing stones.
The brooches are 43mm x 15mm.
