This necklace is made from genuine natural amber which has been formed into round beads. The beads are threaded on a thick double strand and are secured by a threaded amber clasp.
Although the beads are not perfectly round they are lovely and reflect the light well. There are inclusions to the beads which vary in intensity. The smaller beads toward the back of the strand show some surface dulling.
The largest beads are 20mm across and the smallest are 10mm across and as mentioned secure with a screw in clasp that is hidden within the last bead.
The thread has stretched a little so there is around 1cm of play.
The strand is 640mm long and weighs around 75gms.
