This striking brooch is in very good condition. It has a cut out design & uses a technique called Pluma Azteca where feathers are applied to the back to give a stained glass window effect. The feathers are covered in resin and the entire front polished. The maker's mark is Los Castillo, a silver workshop in Taxco Mexico.
The brooch has a roll over catch and a secure hinged pin. There is no damage to the piece.
