This bracelet has a design of leaves and berries and is stamped with the Mexican Eagle mark used until the;ate 1970's. To the centre of the eagle mark is the number 178 used by F Balladares. This design or at least similar one is also seen by other silversmiths seen including Hilario Lopez and Valladares. The bangle is also stamped Mexico Sterling  925.

The bangle has some indents to the leaves at the back next to the hinge as can be seen. The hinge is quite firm and can open to accommodate a number of size wrists.

Apart from the indent mentioned there is no damage to the piece. There is a lump of silver to the inside of the bangle as can be seen. This is a smooth lump, not a bubble and would have occurred in the manufacture.

The bangle measures 82mm at the from and 25mm at the back at the hinge. Each side measures around 35mm at the widest.

When the bangle is measured end to end the measurement is 200mm. This means the bracelet needs a larger wrist to sit correctly and expand at the hinge so it opens out flat.
