This amazing bracelet is set with a cut smokey Quartz to the front and decorated like an Aztec headdress. It is ornate and heavy weighing 80 grams.
The inside of the bangle is marked 925 for sterling silver and has the eagle assay used from 1948 until the late 1970's with the number 3 for Taxco.
The eagle assay was no longer in use after this period so this a genuine vintage piece. There is also Taxco Mex stamped beneath the makers mark of Faux F.
We have not been able to find anything out about Faux F although we found there are many smaller rings and bangles for sale.
The bangle is hinged at the sides and secures with a box clasp at the back.
There are uneven solders and there is silver polish residue in the deepest parts of the design. We have included lots of photos so all of this can be clearly seen.
The cuff bangle is 360mm wide at the front graduating down to 20mm at the back. It measures 200mm around internally.
