This is an opportunity to own a beautiful hand crafted art glass bowl in wonderful condition.
The gorgeous piece dates to around the middle of the 20th Century and was made on the famous Venetian Island of Murano. We have been not been able to identify the maker but are in no doubt it is from Murano.
The bowl is thick and heavy and features controlled bubbles or Bullicante to the base and gold leaf to the 'ears'. The bubbles are precisely placed and graduate from the base to the top getting slightly larger as the go.
The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few faint scratches to the inside from use. There are scratches the underside of the base as shown.
The bowl is 240mm across and stands 100mm tall to the top of the ears and 90mm to the top of the bowl rim.
