This gorgeous lamp would date to the 1960-1970's.
The lamp is from Knabstrup and we can tell this by the numbering to the inside base. It is marked FE 1437. FE stands for Feldspar. This indicates that the clay was a specific feldspathic stoneware and a high fire glaze that created the glassy celadon dimpled glaze. 1437 is the shape number for this precise gourd shape with slender neck lamp.
There is another number 51502 which is most likely for the production number.
The lamp base, is as mentioned, a lovely celadon or sage green with a large motif of a Lotus Seed Pod to the front.
There is no damage to the lamp.
The lamp has been rewired to Australian & New Zealand Standards and safety tagged. It has a new white cord with in line switch.
We have paired the lamp with an original Danish pleated shade.
