This colourful and elegant pendant on chain is in very good condition.
It is marked to the bale * 227 AR indicating this was made in Italy and assayed in the town of Arezzo. This is the sterling silver assay mark for Italy. The number 227 is the number given to the silversmith. We have not identified the silversmith.
The pendant features a sombero enamelled in bright colours with the front turned up as if it has been worn.
There is no damage to this lovely piece.
The chain has a box link and is stamped 925 for sterling silver. It secures with a bolt ring clasp.
The chain is 460mm long. The pendant is 24mm x 24mm not including the bale. The bale adds another 13mm.
