This beautiful piece was designed for Holmegaard Glassworks by Sidse Werner in 1975 and belongs to the Trolglas or Troll Glass range. It is often referred to as Lava Glass.
Troll glass is amazing with many included bubbles, both small and large as if the glass was frothy when blown. There are swirls of pink colour throughout with the silvery bubble layer to the outside.
The vase is engraved to the underside H G SW. The inside of the vase is smooth and glossy with a two open bubbles. These are shown in the photos. The outside has no such open bubbles.
The vase stands 75mm tall and measures 115mm across the rim.
