This vase is in very good condition.
The vase was designed in 1961 by Jacob Bang for Holmegaard and is part of the Capri Series. It was produced until 1973. It has the Initials JB for Jacob Bang to the applied 'seal' to the front.
The crystal is clear blue and the underside of the base has a polished pontil mark.
There are some scratches to the underside of the base as shown and a small area of scratches to the wall of the vase also shown. There is the odd small scratch along the same line, the worst is shown. This vase is around 60 years old so some scratches are to be expected especially to the underside of the base.
There is no etching or clouding of the glass.
The vase is just over 170mm tall. The top is 63mm across and the base 130mm across.
