The pretty cuff bangle is finished in gold over sterling silver. The design is engraved all the way around the bangle.
The bangle is marked Siam 925 Sterling. Siam was the official International name used for Thailand for centuries.
The name Siam was used until 1939 when it was changed. There was a short period from 1945-1949 when the name reverted to Siam but after that time the official name was changed to Thailand.
This bangle would date to the later period.
It is well made with a strong hinge, secure box clasp and safety chain.
The bangle is 10m wide and 2mm thick. The bangle measures 65mm x 60mm across. It measures 180mm around internally.
