This cutlery set is made from high quality 18/10 stainless steel.
The makers mark to the back is a simple crown mark which we have identified as an unknown German manufacturer.
The stainless steel is highly polished with a central gold brick or basket weave design to the centre of the handles.
The set would date to the 1970's and is a great example of Mid Century Modern Transition design. The brick or basket weave design texture paired with the gold tone accents gives a sophisticated, architectural feel that bridges the gap between retro cool and formal elegance.
