This delightful piece is from Italy and called a Florentine night stand for a bedside. It has two doors with lock and the original fancy key.
The finish is embossed and painted in green and gold. The cabriole legs are ornate with the same green and gold finish.
The cupboard would date to around 1950 and has wear from use which we think adds to its charm.
The cupboard is 680mm tall x 630mm wide x 330mm deep.
