This elegant piece is in beautiful condition.
The designer was Svend Langkilde for Langkilde Mobler and from what we have researched, this piece dates to the late 1950's.
It is a genuine vintage piece from Denmark and features a rosewood veneer finish with solid rosewood edging and trim. Note the solid timber to the top and side edges. This indicates quality as the manufacturer has taken the time and effort to protect the veneer edges.
The drawers have central side runners which enable the drawers to glide smoothly in and out. The drawers themselves are made from quality solid hardwood.
The rosewood is well figured and finished in a semi gloss finish. The top has some fine open grain as shown.
The chest of drawers stands 1150mm tall and 835mm wide and 460mm deep.
