This elegant piece of mid century Danish furniture is in beautiful condition.
The desk was designed in the 1960's by Svend Age Madsen for H P Hansen in Denmark. It was crafted with an extraordinary solid teak frame seamlessly supporting two banks of four drawers( top drawers with working locks) and a gorgoeus teak top with a signature upturned rear lip.
Designed to stand freely in the centre of a room, the reverse side is just as thoughtful with a lockable cupboard and integrated bookshelf.
The desk is in lovely condition with a few very minor blemishes from use. The top has been cleaned with fine steel wool and metho (not sanded) and refinished in Scandinavian Teak Oil.
There is the original key which works in all the locks.
The desk is 1500mm long x 730mm deep x 720mm tall. The chair space is 560mm wide x 660mm tall.
