This modernistic elegant piece is in excellent condition.
The necklace is all original with a heavy sterling silver pendant set with square Spectrolite, a rare form of Labradorite known for its intense colour play. It has a lovely textured crystalline surface and as it catches the light a ray of colours appears.
Both the chain and the pendant are clearly marked Sterling Denmark with Sv H for Sven Haugaard active from 1962 in Kolding Denmark. Pieces by this designer are difficult to find.
This is a rare piece and certainly makes a statement.
The pendant is 65mm long and the square setting is 25mm x 25mm. The hand made chain is 560mm long and secures with a toggle through eyelet. The entire piece weighs 46.6gms.
