This lovely bracelet is set with a large central hand carved shell cameo.
The inside of the bangle is marked Sterling Denmark N.E. From 925S with the mark used in the 1940's and 1950's. It is also marked to the top of the cameo setting. The maker of the lovely piece is Niels Erik From, a well respected silversmith and considered one of the greats in Danish design.
The bracelet secures with a sprung clasp which secures to the ring to one side of the cameo. We would suggest it dates to the 1950's.
There is no damage to the piece. The cameo is well defined and has a soft sheen from being worn.
The bracelet measures 185mm around internally. The cameo in its setting is 32mm x 27mm.
