This desk or bureau was made in Denmark from light coloured French Oak and features three curved and shaped drawers and a drop down writing surface. All of the drawers can be locked as can the drop down section.
Inside the open desk 6 smaller waterfall drawers are revealed to hold letters, envelopes and other stationary requirements. The drop down section is supported by a pull out stay so there is no stress put on the hinges.
The base has cabriole legs and a decorative apron to the base of the drawers.
As can be seen the joints are all dove tailed and beautifully made.
The piece is well made and has no damage.
The desk is 1070mm tall and 960mm long and 450mm deep.
