This beautiful vase is in lovely condition. The piece features hand painted mallard duck in flight.
The decoration is beautifully done and the colours soft and muted. The detail to the waves and sky adds to the beauty of this piece.
As these pieces are hand painted no two vases are identical although they are very similar with the same motifs.
The vase is marked to the back with the Royal Copenhagen back stamp with pattern number 1087.
The back stamp is a mid 20th Century one with a dash under the letter E indicating it was made in the period 1975-1979.
The vase is a factory first.
The vase stands 140mm tall and around 85mm across the widest part.
