This elegant piece of Danish furniture would date to the 1960's. The desk is finished in teak veneer and features 6 drawers, solid teak sleigh shaped legs and an open bookshelf to the back. This enables the piece to be placed in an open area with workspace to the front and storage to the back.
The desk is in lovely condition with a few minor blemishes from use in the form of light scratches. The finish is lovely and has been refurbished using Howard's Restore It.
There is the original keyed locks and key. One lock only is in working condition. The top and front of the drawers have fiddle back grain which catches the light beautifully giving the teak a silky three dimensional depth.
The desk is 1500mm long x 700mm deep x 730mm tall. The front knee hole gap is 500mm across.
