This lovely chest was made in Denmark from stained Oak and features three curved and shaped drawers above cabriole legs. The drawers all have solid brass ornate handles.
The top has a hand carved curved edging matching the curve of the drawers and base.
Inside the drawers the dovetail joints can be seen to the sides, these are to both the back and front of the drawers. The timber in this piece is all solid oak, no veneer. The back of the cupboard and drawer bases are plywood but everything else is solid oak.
The drawers all slide in and out smoothly. The chest is clean and ready for use.
The chest is 630mm tall and 630mm long and 260mm deep.
