This chair is in very good condition.
This easy chair was manufactured by Danish Company Farstrup and is in the model called Miljo. It is the high back version. It features a dark stain timber bentwood frame and a dark brown coloured loose leather cushion. The chair has seen use and the leather has an aged patina with a few scuffs here and there. All of which is acceptable and shows a lived in look to the leather. There are some fissures to the top surface of the leather to the head rest and one to the side of the cushion. These have been well nourished and the leather is supple. The canvas support for the cushion is attached to the frame with leather tabs.
The cushion is firm and supportive with resilience in the foam.
The seat cushion can be removed for cleaning and sits loosely in the chair but held tightly in place by the arms. The back of the chair has horizontal slats as can be seen.
We have two of these chairs for sale and although not identical in leather colour due to use they are a very near match.
