This delightful setting is in the pattern called Selandia designed for Desiree Denmark.

It was the first dinner set pattern produced by the company in the 1960's soon after it was founded in 1964 by H C Torbel who left Bing and Grondahl where he had been a production manager.

There are 6 coffee cups, 6 saucers and 6 under plates. There is a milk jug and lidded sugar bowl. There are 21 pieces.

All are in excellent condition with no damage or faults.

The elegant design is such that it would still suit many contemporary decors.

The cups are 62mm tall x 84mm across the rims. They were produced as a coffee cup but are a generous size to double up as a tea cup.

The saucers are 153mm across and the side plates are 180mm across.
