This lovely chest was made in Denmark from mid coloured French Oak and features three curved and shaped drawers above a scalloped apron with cabriole legs. The top is also scalloped and nicely edged.
The drawers all have solid brass round pull handles. There are decorative escutcheons only with no locks.
The timber in this piece is all solid oak, no veneer. The back and drawer bases are plywood but everything else is solid oak.
The drawers all slide in and out smoothly. The chest is very clean and ready for use. The top is clean and clear.
The chest is 670mm tall and 820mm long and 400mm deep.
