This lovely chest was made in Denmark from mid coloured French Oak and features three curved and shaped drawers above an open base with 4 turned legs. The top is scalloped and nicely edged. The drawers all have solid brass handles.
Inside the drawers the dovetail joints can be seen to the sides. The timber in this piece is all solid oak, no veneer. The back and drawer bases are plywood but everything else is solid oak.
The drawers all slide in and out smoothly. The chest is very clean and ready for use. The top has some slightly darker marks and distinctive grain as shown.
The chest is 690mm tall and 650mm long and 400mm deep.
