This beautiful spoon is in lovely condition. It has a round shaped bowl with a hammered finish and the handle has a twist design. There is a beautifully crafted design to the finial.
Although there are no markings to this spoon we are confident it was made by Sargisons jewellers in Hobart which have been making silver spoons since their early beginnings in 1905. A set of silver spoons was presented to Lady Diana and Prince Charles as a wedding gift and and other set to Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark.
This particular spoon has an Arts and Craft design that is no longer produced. The design to the finial is one used by the silver smith on many of their spoons.
The spoon is in very good condition. The bowl has some irregular marks to the silver from when it was made.
The spoon is 77mm long and weighs 3.7gms.
