This lovely spoon is in very good condition.

This hand crafted spoon is marked to the back of the handle with MIT in cameo, an anchor mark and stg sil. MIT is for Michael Isaac Tanner who trained at then worked for Linton Silver in Perth in the 1970's and was later artist is residence at Fremantle Arts Centre Fremantle before moving and setting up a workshop in Broome.

The spoon has a depiction of Gum nuts to the finial and a triangular shaped bowl. The back of the bowl has a rat tail as the handle meets the bowl.

There are fine scratches from use and some fine pitting to the bowl. This fine pitting appears as soft grey marks to the naked eye which we cannot polish out with a gentle polish. A professional buff would do the job is do desired.

The spoon is 112mm long. It weighs 14gms.
