This beautiful piece is in very good condition. The ring has true Art Deco style with a stepped design set with marcasite stones. The centre stone is a semi translucent Chalcedony. The underside of the setting is decorated. It is marked to the inside of the band Sterling and has a U with an arrow through it. This is the makers mark for Uncas Jewellery, Rhode Island USA.
This particular mark was used from 1922 until 1950.
The ring has all its stones present and all are bead set where a little of the sterling silver base has been lifted up over the stones to keep them in place.
There are no missing stones. I can see two finely cracked stones that are both secure and as can be seen the ring presents beautifully.
This is an elegant and stylish ring.
The ring measures 23mm x 17mm. The rounded band is 2 mm wide. It is a ring size R 1/2.
