This lovely storage jar was designed by Esteri Tomula for Arabia Finland. It is one of several spice and herb jars in the set.
It is marked to the base with Arabia Finland and has the numbers 8-68 indicating it was made in 1968.
This particular jar is for cinnamon and features black on milky white background. Simply fit a cork to the jar to seal in the spice.
The jar is 62mm square to the base and stands 72mm tall.
There are no chips or cracks. There is so me light crazing to the glaze. The top has a couple of dimples in the glaze from when it was fired.
