This appealing brooch is large and depicts a tribal figure. It is made with a curve so is convex in shape. It is signed for sterling silver and has a pictorial mark we have not been able to identify. Similar brooches are made by various Hopi and Navajo artists.
The back has a sterling pin and a roll over safety clasp. There is also a large bale so the piece can be worn as a pendant.
As mentioned the brooch is 51mm long and measures 26mm across.
