This beautiful bowl was made by Bing & Grondahl, Denmark and is marked with the back stamp used from 1948-1951.
The design is hand painted with garden flowers and each bowl in this design is unique although the sprays of flowers are similar they are never the same.
The edging has a wide band of gold with a fine inner blue line and there are little golden sprays of flowers around the rim. The rim is decorated with 5 narrow ribbed panels.
The plate is a factory first and in excellent condition.
There is no wear to the hand painted design or the to the painted rim. The painting is quite exquisite.
The bowl is 245mm across and is 44mm tall. Each bowl weighs between 500-600gms. It is numbered 22 for the larger bowl size.
