This beautiful platter is in lovely condition. The piece features a gorgeous bright yellow sunflower design by Birger Kaipaiinen.
The platter is marked to the back with Arabia, Made in Finland 6-70. This indicates it was made in June, 1970.
The platter has sides that slant outward from the central design so is not flat.
There are some light scuff/utensil marks across the surface seen when the plate is tilted to the light.
There are no chips, wear or cracks to this lovely piece. I can see the odd pin prick size black dot which would be an impurity within the ceramic.
It is 360mm across and 315mm. The edges are 45mm high.
This is an original piece from 1970.
