Produced by Waterford Crystal, the large tumblers feature beautifully deep decorative diamond cuts to the body and decorative star cuts to the undersides of the bases. The design is called Comeragh with a cut base. This design was first released in 1973 and is no longer in production although belongs to Waterford's Archive Stemware Program where selected patterns are made to order. In this case at a cost of US$250.00 a single glass.
The set is free of damage with no chips, cracks, staining or clouding. Each is acid etched to the underside of the base with the first Waterford signature. This mark is extremely faint on some of the glasses and only partial marks on others but is definitely there. .
The glasses measure 110 tall and 73mm across the rim. The tumblers hold at least 250mls when filled to the rim.
The pieces are heavy and have the brilliance, sparkle and clarity one would expect from the highest quality crystal.
