Produced by Waterford Crystal, the large tumbler features beautifully deep decorative diamond cuts to the body and decorative star cuts to the undersides of the bases. The design is called Comeragh with a cut base. This design was first released in 1973 and is no longer in production although belongs to Waterford's Archive Stemware Program where selected patterns are made to order. In this case at a cost of US$250.00 a single glass.
The glass is free of damage with no chips, cracks, staining or clouding. It is acid etched to the underside of the base with the first Waterford signature although the mark is faint.
The glass measures 110 tall and 73mm across the rim. The tumbler holds at least 250mls when filled to the rim.
The piece is heavy and has the brilliance, sparkle and clarity one would expect from the highest quality crystal.
