This vintage setting came to us in its orange flocked lined storage box.
The vintage cutlery set is marked Rodd Stainless to the backs and has a black floral design. The pattern is called Espana and it dates to the early 1970's. Rodd had its high quality stainless steel cutlery made in Japan.
The blades have a mirror finish as shown with serrated blades.
The set is housed in a Oneida Flexi box made to suit many brands of cutlery. It is most likely that the set was purchased with this box.
The set has had little use and only shows very fine usage marks. Only one knife has a dark spot as shown.
The vintage set comprises 6 dinner knives with serrated blades 6 entree knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 entree forks, 6 dessert spoons, 6 soup spoons, 6 teaspoons and a pair of salad servers. There are 44 pieces.
The set comes in the canteen which is covered to the outside with patterned paper. The canteen outer is a little scuffed in places.
