These are our new pleated shades we have imported from Denmark. They are made in Denmark and are a high quality item.
We love these shades, they are different from the normal ones offered in lighting shops and add a classic or modern look to your decor.
They are made from white PVC and we would describe the colour as milky white, they are not a bright white. The frames are also made by Alpe design in Denmark and have a white coating over the metal.
They are very easy to clean as a simple run under warm (not hot) will remove all dust and dirt.
This type of shade is used extensively in Denmark on all type of bases including floor lamps. We find them stylish and practical.
We have a range of sizes. All the shades will come disassembled from the frames and will require a simple assembly on arrival. This will ensure their safe transport.
The smaller shades (18cm, 21cm and 23cm) come complete with bulb attachment in the form of a clip on fitting. All sizes 25cm and above will need either a clip on fitting or a halo type fitting to attach to the base/bulb on which to sit the shade.
We have both clip on adapters for Danish lamp shades and our custom made halo adapters for 22mm Australian bayonet bulb fittings. We also have Danish halo fittings for 40mm Euro bulb holders and adapters for ceiling hanging.
