It is a genuine vintage Australian desk dating to the Mid-Century.
It was a purchase from the original family who had it from new, and the inheritor of the piece has fond memories of their Father fastidiously doing the weekly accounts at the desk.
The piece has teak veneer to the flat surfaces, and nice brass detailing to the front panel.
The veneer is in excellent condition. The piece has a few marks and some scratches to the internals from use, but is generally very clean and well presented.
The piece measures 61cm wide and 118cm high to the top. The desk section is 75cm high when pulled out, and the width is 45cm (without desk top extended out).
