This piece is in excellent condition.
Designed by Sidse Werner in 1987 and produced until the early 90's, the design is called 'Capriole' and it was made in several different sizes.
This size is the smallest of 3 we have, measuring just over 10cm in diameter and approximately 5cm tall.
They are made from a beautiful clear crystal, with the late 80's versions having the trademark ice blue tinge to the crystal. Those that were made closer to the end of the production line are made from a clear, bright, white crystal.
The colour difference in the crystal is subtle, and we will ensure if you make multiple purchases that the pieces will match in colour. If you have a preference for either then let us know so we can check our availability.
The candle holders are made in a centrifugal pattern radiating our from the centre. The underside of the candle holder has deep grooves that form a beautiful radiating pattern when lit.
We have tried our best to capture the pattern of the candle light. The word Capriole means 'to leap playfully' and this is what the candle light does around the candle holder!
