What's in Store March 2021
Welcome to our March update,
As we soak up the last of the warm weather and feel the chill of the
night air in the valley it is obvious the change of season is upon us.
Autumn is our personal favourite season here in Adelaide. The 'Indian
Summer' that stretches on through March and into April often gives us
clear blue skies and mild weather that is perfect for gardening, picnics
and just enjoying the great outdoors in general. The nights cool down,
giving colour to the Autumn leaves and relief from the few hotter days
we still get here and there.
With this cooling down we've seen a renewed interest in our beautiful
range of Klippan Blankets. We will soon be receiving some new season's
stock with some lovely new colours and designs. Also, don't forget we
offer a range of high quality vintage woollen blankets that are a
cheaper option if you are after a high quality blanket to snuggle into
this winter.
Those of you that have been to our shop recently would have seen that we
are now offering a greater range of garden items including a range of
indoor plants for sale. We are offering some fabulous rustic planters,
cast iron garden furniture and some items made from reclaimed teak that
look great both indoors and out. If you love greenery or are looking for
a gift with a difference, be sure to pop in and check out our range.
Some of you would have seen on our social media that Anika (our
grand-daughter / daughter) chose to shave her hair to raise money for
the Leukemia Foundation through 'The World's Greatest Shave'. She is 8
years old, so it was a very brave quest! Thanks to our wonderful
community she raised over $3300, and donated her hair for wig making for
Cancer victims. She carries her new look with pride.
With Easter fast approaching, we wish you all a safe and happy break
with your family. We look forward to updating you next month with some
more great vintage pieces and items of high quality and great design.
