What's in Store (August 2020)
The end of winter has come back with a bite!
Chilly daytime temperatures have seen the maximums reach only the low teens, and we have seen some rainy, drizzly days (the rain has been a blessing, as it has been extremely dry!).
The local Almond trees have reminded us that spring is soon coming though, the Main Street of Clarendon has been decorated by the pale pink blossoms, petals falling like nature's confetti on the roadside. Check out the photo I took below, it appears to have snowed, but the reality is it is a drift of petals. It was magical in the fog to see the petals fluttering silently to the ground.
If you are local to the area be sure to take a drive in the next few
weeks, the country side is looking spectacular at the moment with the
green hills and beautiful wattles ablaze with colour. If you are
traveling through to the McLaren Vale region or Fleurieu Coast be sure to
pop in and say hi!
Lastly, we would like to thank each and every one of you reading this blog. You form part of our local and online community, and the support
has been amazing through the last six months. Your purchases, support on
social media pages, kind words and encouragement have meant so much.
Supporting small business in this time means more than we can say,
without it we simply wouldn't be here. So, we thank you from the bottom
of our hearts.
