This beautiful bronze was cast by Svend Lindhart in Denmark. Svend Lindhart was born in 1898 and became a sculptor and worked at Bing & Grondahl porcelain factory in the early to mid 20th Century. His bronze figures are not common and bear his own studio name. He passed away in 1989. He is best known for his delightful 'Ache Babies' in white porcelain. Tummy ache, head ache, ear ache, tooth ache and ear ache.
This little figure is delightful and depicts a toddler riding a googly eyed fish like a cowboy.
There is no damage to the piece and the bronze has a soft sheen and nice patina.
The figure is 130mm tall. He is solid and heavy.
