This striking piece is made from high grade silver. It is marked to the hook closure 'Sterling Mexico' indicating it was made pre 1948 when the Eagle mark was first introduced.
The closure is a hook over link.
There are no repairs to the piece and only one insignificant and shallow indent to one ball next tot he clasp. The silver is sound and has no tears or holes. It really is in very good condition.
This is a substantial piece and very eye catching.
The necklace is 410mm long x 18mm wide and weighs 47.6gms.
